Four good reasons to use the Simple Workspace's flatplan

Creating a document for printing involves many people in a fast-paced environment where the printer cannot afford to wait. How does using Simple Workspace’s flatplan improve security, workflow, and control, ultimately saving time?

  1. The flatplan acts as a central reference point for the entire team, showing the most recent version of the document being produced. Instead of searching for the right PDF, printing it, and pinning it to the wall, team members only need to open an application.
  2. The flatplan is an accurate preview of the pages as they will be printed, using Adobe InDesign Server to generate the previews. This allows graphic artists to access page files for local editing with Adobe InDesign without disrupting the process.
  3. The flatplan keeps track of the document’s progress, indicating the status of each page, whether it’s finalized, being proofread, or in layout. This makes it easy to determine who is working on which page! 4.The production of a document is a collaborative effort. Starting with the flatplan, market managers and their teams can use templates to design pages, add their chosen offers, and make notes on the pages created by the graphic artists. Managers can monitor the production process and analysis of different versions. They can also make minor adjustments directly on the pages without using Adobe InDesign.

I forgot to mention a fifth reason! No matter where team members are located, in the same place, working remotely, or in different offices, all they need is a simple web browser. Pretty useful, right? Would you like to learn more? Ask for a live demonstration. Feel free to reach out to us . We would love to hear from you!
